High net worth individuals in Asia seen at 2.8 mn

The number of high net worth individuals (HNWI) in Asia will balloon by 140% to 2.8 million by 2015 from 1.2 million now, according to a report by CLSA Asia-Pacific Markets titled 'Fat Cats in Fast Lanes'.
The report, which analyses wealth distribution in China, Hong Kong, India, Indonesia, Malaysia, Philippines, Singapore, South Korea, Taiwan, and Thailand, defined HNWIs as those with investment-worthy assets of US$1 million or more, excluding their first homes
"The forces for wealth creation are extremely favourable for Asia over the coming years. As Asia gets richer, the surge in wealthy Asian spending power will become a multi-decade theme," Amar Gill, the Head of Special Projects Research at CLSA, said. "The economies are growing faster than any other region in the world. Savings ratios are high and appreciation is a big driver of wealth," he added.
In the Asian region, the HNWIs comprise only 0.06 per cent of the adult population, while in developed markets such as Singapore and Hong Kong, HNWIs represent 1.5 per cent of the adult population, the CLSA said.
The report stated that Indonesia would have the fastest HNWI growth at 25%, higher than 22% in China, it said.

Best friends are very hard to find. I have only one best friend. There are many qualities a best friend must have. My best friend is always there for me. I can call him at three o’clock in the morning and he will wake up to talk to me. My best friend is also a great listener. If I ask my best friend for advice, he will give it to me, but there are some times that I just want him to listen. I can open up to my best friend and tell him anything. Also, my best friend is always there to comfort me. If I am ever upset, he always finds a way to make things better. My best friend and I always have fun and laugh when were together. Best friends truly are the best kind of friends.

The Universities must obtain the permission grant from the University Grant commission (UGC) for accreditation to offer recognized degrees .The statistics about the education is nothing less than staggering . There are about 376 million degree holders in India. There are 25 million graduate degree holders other than technical degree and 3 million engineering degree holders. Every year almost 60000 engineering graduates come out of universities.The preferred studies are Science, Engineering and management. The minimum age for undergraduate course is 18 years.
